The Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is part of the Advanced Practitioner Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy.

  • Review and analyse the CBT model and its core components.

  • Apply CBT tools and techniques in therapeutic practice.

  • Understand the CBT therapeutic relationship and assessment.

  • Learn to teach and apply the ABCDE model effectively.

  • Distinguish between healthy and unhealthy emotions and beliefs.

  • Assess client problems, including meta-emotional issues.

  • Learn irrational beliefs, goal setting, and commitment to change.

  • Dispute unhealthy beliefs and integrate healthy ones using various methods.

  • Manage obstacles to progress in CBT.

  • Students are also required to obtain professional indemnity insurance.
     

CPD
This course represents 45 hours of verifiable Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
